Short project description

The purpose of the application is creation of Web-based Business-To-Business system, which operates as intermediary between suppliers and customers. Different suppliers maintain Web stock and customers choose among all of them and send request for offer. Customers and suppliers are stored in database that serves as business directory. The most important thing is the e-documents exchange among partners.

Project consists of two systems:

       1. Companies subsystem or Business directory
       2. Stock or Goods directory

Main features

Business directory:
- Company submission
- Company data update
- Company searching
- Authorization functions

These are base functions of subsystem that allow it operate as standalone. Other subsystems use Business directory for user authorization purposes.

Goods directory:
- User authorization with server
- Adding and editing information about goods (local goods classifier)
- Goods data synchronization function

Local goods classifier is structured (or categorized) list in a form acceptable for users. It is presented as a tree with a structure of several levels hierarchy.
